The Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue: 10 Items Or Less [2006-2009]The series stars John Lehr as a struggling New York City actor who moves back to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio to take over the family supermarket following the death of his father. The show is set in the fictional supermarket known as Greens & Grains, located at 5th Street and Tiberius. -wiki This has definitely earned its rank in my personal top 3 improv comedy shows of all time. Sitting right along there with The Office and Reno 911! Aside from the fact that the concept seems to be a little similar to The Office, the cast is great and the idea of it being filmed in an actual Jons supermarket during business hours makes things even better. The show bases itself around following the daily happenings of the employees and boss at the Greens & Grains supermarket. John Lehr brings a new direction to the whole “awkward boss” character and Bob Clendenin continually proves that he was made for improv comedy. The humor isn’t for everybody, plenty of dumb jokes that borderline even a grin, but the show seems to get a lot better when the 2nd and 3rd seasons come around. “Miracle Worker” and “I Can See Clearly” are just a couple of my favorite episodes. Definitely a good way to spend a 20 minute smoke sesh. Giving this one 4 out of 5 nugs -A

what does day off mean? getting reallyyyy baked and not leaving the house, except maybe for some food. The only thing that sucks is daytime tv. praise the weed gods for Netflix Instant Queue. Today we got a favorite around here that has just been added to the queue, so here’s a fresh installment of The Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue, and this is a dank one.

Workaholics(TV Show, Comedy Central)Rating: 5 outta 5 nugs

So if you haven’t taken our advice in the past, or just miss Workaholics as much as we do, Netflix now has as much tight butthole as you can handle. Pack the bong, roll plenty of blunts and joints, and keep your stash close, you’ll be getting high and laughing your ass off, enjoy.

It’s gonna be a lazy week for us over here at FYW, so that means plenty of tv and weed. Not a bad combo right? AND, the Stoner Review From The Instant Queue this week fits right in. When you hop on your instant queue, go over to the Recently Added: TV section and you’ll see this. I have been anxiously waiting to start this with great praise and reviews from my friends, I almost pissed myself when I got on netflix today and saw it there. Few episodes in! join me, let’s get baked and watch some tv. Lazy days

So my week started off nicely when I stumbled across a nice bag of Blue Dream, I’ve been in a hazy fog for days, and have been glued to the TV. What’s new. I packed the bong and sat down on the couch, went to Comedies on the instant queue and found this one. Who doesn’t like to laugh when they’re stoned right?
This is The Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue: Mystery Team(2009)
So if the scooby doo mystery team didn’t have any ladies, because let’s face it, they’re nerdy virgins. And then you mix that with a little hardy boys, you will have The Mystery Team. Usual neighborhood antics go on and they solve the crimes, but then, one morning, a young girl pays them a dime to find out who murdered her parents the night before and took her grandmother’s ring. Can they solve this one? are they ever going to grow up?
Weed and laughs go hand in hand, so do yourself a favor and watch this one. It will be sure to have you laughing the entire movie. We give this one a 3 outta 5 nugs.

The 4th installment is here, and it’s a stoner classic. With these reviews, my goal is to completely check out what netflix is offering right onto the queue, whether it’s a cult classic most of us have seen, or a movie I’ve never even heard of. There is so many options and sometimes you don’t see them all. This is what the review is here for. I know after I hit the bong, sit down with the controller and browse around, I’m always way to stoned to function. This leaves me glued to the couch and never knowing what to pick. Thus the idea was born, and here we are. The stoner review is here to be a guide along your highest journeys. Enjoy,
The Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue: Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Ah yes, a stoner classic this week! make sure to have plenty of bud and bongs around to keep up with Jay and Silent Bob. I was browsing the queue and noticed this gem has been added for viewing pleasure, stoked! If you haven’t checked it out yet, I suggest you do. Directed by Kevin Smith, this film is the fifth movie is Smith’s View Askewniverse, a finctional universe that Smith has created for his movies/comics/tv show all starting with the first film Clerks. If you haven’t seen the others, I suggest you get a big ole bag of weed and have a stoner movie day and watch them. Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and then what we got up for this week, followed by Clerks II. Clerks & Chasing Amy can be found on the instant queue as well. Mallrats, Dogma, & Clerks II can be ordered on DVD. Snoogins
When Jay and Silent Bob come to find out that Bluntman & Chronic(the comic book based on them) is being made into a movie by Miramax, and that people on the internet are talking shit about them, they’re quite pissed. They set out on a journey from New Jersey to Hollywood, to stop the film from being made, thus people talking shit about them would end.
Featuring a ton of appearances from usual Smith movies, plenty of bud, and some star wars shit, we give this 4 outta 5 nugs. Oh, and if you wanna play the FYW smoking game to go along with the flick, go ahead and hit the bong everytime Jay says “BOOONGGG!” you’ll be plenty ripped for the whole movie, snootchie bootchies.

The 3rd review is in! Hopped on netflix and landed in the “late night comedy” section aka the stoner movies (thanks for thinking of us in some form Netflix!) & saw a movie with plenty of people that I know, plus there is pot involved. I think this is it. Load the movie and the bong, this is The Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue: High Hopes(2005)
When Tom’s dreams of making his movie are going down the drain with a girlfriend that no longer wants him in her life, him and his group of film buddies come up with a plan. The always stoned Jason Mewes plays the pothead friend in the group, who after picking up from his dealer, realized there is a way to get the cash they need. Partying, Bongs rips and some late night planning lead them on a chase for the mighty government grown m-100 marijuana.
Plenty of humor, bong rips, stoned nonsense, & government pot to go around, and a good story line with a dope ending. Make sure the bong is close, you’ll need it to match Mewes bong rip for bong rip. Oh ya, and Danny Trejo is the badass with government pot, enough said. I give this a 3.5 outta 5 nugs in this weeks review. Fly high and get high to High Hopes

So I saw a lot of great feedback on our 1st Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue, I’m really stoked to continue this weekly from now on. Continue to let us know what you think of the selections after you’ve watched, and drop us movie catorgories you’d like to see in the next installments.

Alright, it’s time to get the bongs out, get ready, & grab some friends, it’s about to be a party, This is the 2nd edition of Stoner Review From The Netflix Queue.

So I love these zombie style slasher movies, & Return Of The Living Dead happen to pop up under the Recently Added section on the instant queue while I was browsing quite stoned. The roomies and some friends rolled through for this sesh and we turned this into a game you and your friends can play, the rules are:
1. Guys, every time a zombie nomz on some dude’s head, it’s time for a bong rip.
2. Ladies, every chick to go down from these nasty zombie fucks, you’re taking a bong rip.
3. THE WILDCARD: anytime a civilian owns a zombie & chops it’s head off, everyone is snapping the bong.

This will provide for high times for the whole movie, also meaning this is a good gory movie. We give this one 3 outta 5 nugs. If you enjoy cheesy retro soundtracks, lots of gore, blood, naked chicks, parties, and of course zombies, call up some friends, get a fat bag & some bongs, this is The Bong Rips Of The Living Dead Game.

So after I got really high and sat on my couch, I went about a usual stoner activity and hopped on the instant queue. Being a high ass I just sat and scrolled through a ton of shit not deciding what kinda movie I wanna watch for my high. Since I know selections while high can be difficult in any sense, whether it’s munchies, music, or movies, I thought, “why not add this to the FYW pages?!”. So I’m gonna try to do this once a week from now on,
this is the Stoner Review From the Netflix Queue. Enjoy:

Got really high and checked this out on netflix. Growing Op is about a teenage boy who is home schooled by his modern day, intellectual hippie parents. Oh ya, and they live in a grow house, set in the middle of surburbia. After a girl moves in next door, the main character decides he wants to go to a regular high school and be “normal” like every other teenager on the block. However, he quickly sees that high school, and others, aren’t that “normal” themselves.
The main characters acting is “ehhh” the majority of the movie, but all the other characters, especially his parents, are quite funny. Not bad for an indie film, and it’s got a sweet ending. Good amount of pot, some edible scenes, and some brief marijuana knowledge are all included.
I’m giving this one a 3.5 outta 5 nugs.
Get high, chill on the couch with the bong and enjoy this one from the netflix queue.
