Grand Daddy Purple:

Price: 60 8th’s/200 half/360 ounce

Type: Indica

Smell: super dank, very sweet smelling aroma.  Quite distinct, and very very noticeable. This strain packs some serious odors.

Look:  Dense outside, thick and smaller “pebble” type nugs, a lot of orange hair, noticeable crystals.

Feel:  Very hard, super dense and rock like.  Nugs are sticky on the touch. Breaking this up by hand caused for some super sticky fingers.

Taste: This is now one my favorite tasting strains.  The taste is unlike any other, if you’ve had some gdp before you know what I’m talking about. Very distinct, super sweet and delicious.

Rating off first hit:  Off the first rip on a pipe, the taste is extremely dominant, overpowering even. Very clean and very smooth, an instant head high sits in.  Off the first rip of the bong, taste is still noticeable, while the gdp instantly hits you in the head.  I felt the need to sit down at times after ripping this on the bong.  

Strength: super potent stuff, I was high for 3-4 hours.

 Overall Rating: This is definitely one of the best strains I’ve come across and definitely my new favorite purp. Quality texture and taste, this is one of the best around.  Unique taste really puts it on a higher rating level for me, as well as the amazing high I received.  This stuff had me spinning immediately after toking, an instant head high followed by an intense body and head high for hours. At times I dozed off into my own zone before realizing what was going on.  This one is definitely not for the first time smoker, or the rookie smoker at that.  GDP has given me one of the “highest” times I’ve been and for a super long sesh too.  A bit pricey, but for good reason.  GDP will put you on your ass, and keep you there for hours.
